Three. Maya takes up all 3 screens. It seems to be a program that spreads out to fill whatever space is available.Otherwise, central monitor for main activity, like substance painter, browser window, game or whatever. Right is for chat/email/etc. Left monitor is for Emacs.

oneanimating in maya is a pain in the goddamn asshole on one monitor. it's really cool how the graph editor takes up half of my fucking screen.also I can't ever have more than one viewport open, which makes things worse.

3.two 1440x900 and a 1280x1024. I've had them forever, salvaged two of them, they have a fucking embarrassing resolution but I have trouble justifying buying a new monitor because they all work and with the three of them together I have enough space. Even after a capacitor blew in one I just fixed it and kept using it.
