How do i render fire/fluids using V-Ray in Maya? I'm trying to know how but i can't find the answer. I can only render fire using Maya Software Render, but not with Vray...What do i need to do? help
>>534451first step, use max and fumenext step, render with vray, no problem
>>534451do you have the v-ray fluid attributes enabled in the attribute editor?
>>534549Can you print a image here so i can see where this fluid attribute is? I searched in my attribute editor but i coundt find it
>>534524mistake, fume looks like fume. it will never look realistic.
>>534739I don't have vray installed right now since it isn't cracked for e2, but I think it was in one of these menus "vray extra attributes" or something
>>534744Weird, in my maya 2016, the fire effect is at the 'Effects' menu. And its not named as fluidShape, instead it is named as particleShape. Its like fluids is one thing, and effects (Fire, Firework, Lightning, Smoke) is another thing. I can create fire, but it does not appears when i render with vray. Only works if i render as Maya Software.Thats the thing i do not know how to make it work in vray render.
>>534755try looking for those extra attributes in the same place on the particleshape attribute editor
someone has vray for maya 3.3 2016.5 ?
