dunno where you would find the model though
>>
Can you find chun li posing ?
>>
>>532107
Anyone knows a place where i can pirate very high polygon high detailed/quality female models? For non-commercial science purposes of course.
>>
>>532229

Someone put a vrgirlz torrent on cg persia. They are all fugly tho.

get daz3d (its free)
get some morphs (here's a pack: https://my.mixtape.moe/mylsdj.zip)

make your own waifu, pose it, then export as .obj, open in zbrush, subdivide it until its as high poly as you want.
>>
>>532267
daz models aren't that sexy tho are they ?

bro...
95% of cg porn is based on daz models

hera, a shitty render of a THICC figure i whipped up in 5 minutes. With enough morphs you can do almost any body type, really.
>>
>>532272
can you make them look sexy, stylish and cartoonish though ?
>>
>>532267
But Daz is garbage.
>>
>>532232
Interesting, do you know if there are any standart or T posed ones within them? There is always the option to edit them a bit.

>>532267
>Daz 3D
Stop
>subdivide
That's making models high poly maybe, but not highly detailed.

>>532272
Which is why 95% of cg porn is utterly repulsive. Daz are experts in creating uncanny valley.
>>
>>532273
Yeah

>>532276
>>532313
Uncanny valley has nothing to do with DAZ and everything to do with the people being shit at sliders.

He asked for free, high polygon, high quality models. DAZ fulfills all these criteria, especially genesis 2 which makes detailed anatomy possible.

Results matter, not how you got them. If you don't want to waste 5 years of training to make waifus, then DAZ is ideal.
>>
>>532317
I've never ever seen DAZ create anything stylish or cartoonish. Trying to push the pre-defined settings gives you a wonky distorted anatomy with no artistic input.

>>532273
It's much better if you model it yourself with all the proportions and details you want. Your best bet is to prepare a basemesh and sculpt the rest in zbrush. You will get much finer results than DAZ.
>>
>>532319
You don't take the realistic human heads from daz for cartoonish look. You rip the head off a model like http://www.daz3d.com/star-original-figure and glue it on the body you want.

Of course it's better to make your own model, but that is only the case if you have the necessary skill, and even then using a DAZ figure as a base mesh is a great idea that will severely reduce time and skill needed to make your own thing.

Telling someone who just wants to print waifus to 'simply' become Pygmalion is really shit advice desu.
>>
>>532313

>Interesting, do you know if there are any standart or T posed ones within them? There is always the option to edit them a bit.

No, they are all posed, I didn't know you wanted to pose them yourself. They are scanned models tho so very realistic.
>>
>>532319

Daz isn't modelling software. It's just for rendering. Saying you'll get better results modelling a figure in zbrush than Daz is like saying you'll get better results driving to New York if you drive a car instead of a pretzel.

There are a number of toon morphs for their figures but you're stuck using other people's morphs and if you have a specific stylized look you want you're probably not going to be able to get it mixing and matching pre-packaged morphs.

Your best bet is to use the pre-packaged morphs to get your figure as close to what you want as possible then export it (or pipe it to Hexagon if you have that) at base resolution to a modelling program and use that program to further tweak the figure until you get exactly what you want.

For the average user though this is probably a little above their skill grade but hey, you'll never learn it until you start doing it and everybody has to start somewhere.

Just make sure you're not breaking the geometry with whatever software you're using. In 3D Coat use the tweak function in the paint room and not the sculpting room to make your morphs. If you're using Sculptris have the detail slider set to 0 and don't use symmetry. In Hexagon don't use smoothing (subdivision).

Now if you are a skilled modeller either roll your own figure and rig it in Daz or roll your own head and geograph it to the Daz figure of your choice. Geographing seems intimidating at first but it's actually quite easy, just keep in mind the geographed head will only work while you're in the Universal tool.

There are some porn artists who geograph the heads ripped from video game figures onto Genesis bodies so that they have a better anatomy than your typical game model and can easily use Daz figure assets.

Daz can't really provide a very stylish look (from my experience with G2F, G3F, including the Aiko bundles). The closest I can think of is the Girl 6/7

Unless you´re afraid to do it. You afraid, aren´t you? Afraid to post your model?

>>

Nobody needs to post their model to realize that you are a shitty modeller.
Nobody needs to be a fucking rocket scientist to point to an exploding rocket and say: Shit's not working.
Nobody needs to be a fucking Doctor to look at a picture of your mom and tell you that she is ugly and fat.

>>
>>532442
>>
>>532392

I don't know product wise what products Daz sells that are stylized toons because I don't buy products. If I need a stylized figure I find it's easier to just roll my own, but most people don't know how to do that so they have to rely either on other people's figures or morphs for existing figures.

>>
>>532478
These are absolute garbage. They are on par with this : >>532410
DAZ is not for cartoonish products, accept this fact and move on.
>>
>>532481

It's a rendering program. Just put any figure you want in it, rig it and render it. It's that simple.

There's no magic that prohibits you from using your own figures in Daz.
>>
>>532482
If you can produce you own figures why do you need shit like DAZ?
>>
>>
>>532534
actually thats quite doable if you fix the proportions, the details and the goblin face
>>
>>532510

Because it's a very easy to use program for rigging and triax produces very nice joint bending especially with JCMs. And iRay is a pretty nice render engine.

The software has a huge community with a lot of support.

Why not use it?
>>
>>532534
horrible
>>
>>532481
Nah, first and third one is very much useable, first one just has shitty textures and renders.

What many people don't get is that most morphs are sliders, so you can adjust the level of cartoonishness.
>>
>>532602
I don't think you understand. You don't get cartoonish with DAZ sliders. You get a wonky distorted yet realisticy looking limbs that look creepy. It's like trying to use a very realistic headmesh and sculpting it to look cartoonish by smudging the eyes and shit, but with a limited amount of smudge.
It's just not efficient to try making cartoonish things with DAZ. DAZ is best for realistic models with proper rigging deformations and hair/skin rendering. I have no objections that DAZ is a great tool for realistic works.
>>
>>532442
Trash. You and your work. I look forward to the day your portfolio passes by my desk, especially since it'll have this piece of shit in it no doubt.

That render you posted actually had a limited run print. It was beautiful, I did my own based off of Chris Sanders work myself, even made the hands in preparation for possible future 3D printing one day. I have my own resin printer but... I haven't bought any resin for it in a long time to do it myself.
>>
>>532579
You know what else is easy to use for rigging? Every 3D modelling package out there, like for example Maya. You can get plugins that do this shit at a click of a button like Advanced Skeleton, which is a free plugin.

But if you're hellbent on free, Blender has a couple scripts as well. There really isn't a point in using DAZ when you can do all your edits in a proper 3D software. Why put up with DAZ's limitations?
