Quick question. Is there a way to make an swf of a low poly model so the user can rotate it and maybe change the camera/materials?
Just use Unity. swf is over.
>>530482Thanks, I actually was going to try Unity but I'm not sure the website is compatible with Unity
>>530481I'm hoping sketchfab or marmoset viewer someday allow substance support in the viewer so you could change settings on the fly.
>>530484>the website is compatible with UnityWhat are you, uploading it on furaffinity, or something?
>>530484So long as someone has the web player installed (there should be a prompt to install it if it isn't. Only like 12mb) then they're good to go. It doesn't matter if a site is compatible or not. See?http://184.108.40.206/play/
>>530505Asa matter of fact, yes. I know I could upload a render and put a link in the description to an external site but it would be nice to have my dicks spinning on furaffinity.
>>530527It only works in Windows, though.
>>530481>swfPlease.Also don't listen to retards saying you have to use unity for that. Html canvas with 3d context.
>>530717unity supports webgl nowadays
>>530719Do you need an addon for that though?Installing something for a simple purpose that's supported in most modern browsers because it's basically standard now is everything that's wrong with the world.
>>530720the webgl build capability was meant to replace the unity3d plugin for browsers, since chrome doesn't support it anymorehttp://beta.unity3d.com/jonas/AngryBots/
>>530717Thanks! I'll see what I can do with that info. I've been dicking around with 3d software for years but never felt like showing it, so I'm way out of date
>>530759If what >>530721 says is true, then unity seems to build to js and webgl.I still don't see a reason not to use something lighter for that purpose.
>>530719> don't use a framework built into the browser, use a .NET runtime that browsers won't embed!!!!you have to be 18+ to post on 4chan
