bump map don't work in the same way

its like a secondary texture that overlay on the original texture, and its an old tech by now

This is an old tech, or bump map is old?

I dont have the map yet of my model, but i already searched for a bump map in marmoset, and i coundt find a clue... only displacement. But the displacement map will affect directly my mesh, wich i do not want...

Even if you are talking about bump maps, you could be talking about detail maps by updated extension?

bump maps look fine, you guys have a weird perception of them because of your narrow view within games. games use normal maps much more mainly bc they are cheaper in engine. when shading for vfx its easier to blend and manipulate bump maps, even though they are older tech, so they are still used for some things.

here's something that looks pretty good (not perfect obviously but besides the point), and it uses bump maps.
