Cross site scripting, it's a web vulnerability that lets you insert Javascript into a page.

So for example, if 4chan was vulnerable, I coulse write <script>alert("memes");</script> on my post and every time someone opened that page they'd get an alert box.
It can be used to steal cookies etc.

Made this in 2006 in Maya when I had an art monkey job at a local studio churning out misc props for an animated pilot which never got finished and the studio shut down. Got to learn Maya though so that was fun. Didn't do any 3D afterwards until about 4 years ago.

This took me 6 hours to render on my 512mb laptop.

I didn't even attempt to make a bunch of crazy shit when I first opened up a 3D program, or if I did, I never saved it. I focused more on animation in the beginning with bouncing balls going through shit.

That was 4 years ago, and I didn't make any progress until this last year.

The arial views in the intro and the background while they sit in the car in the beginning are exportet straight from google earth.
For all the other scenes I "3D scanned" google earth by taking some screenshots and putting them into 123D Catch.
This of course causes a large loss of quality. Notice how the column in the middle of the square got turned into a molten pile of rubble.

My memory is fuzzy but i guess with those raytraced volumetric light shafts on the left and 2-4 AA samples with that resolution it must have been 10 -20 minutes.
No GI, AO or other fancy stuff involved.
This wasn't exactly the first rendering i did with the software, but the first i called a "finished image" and which i showed friends.

Jin Roh sure left a strong impression.

Been stuck here because I am lazy and I am writing a script to show people how to make a better 3-d character by using the objects given to you (shapes, rectangles, etc.) instead of the shitty ones that ALL seem to want you to start off with a fucking mirrored plane.

But yeah, when I get it done, I hope it takes people about 10 minutes or so to get a basic head instead of using 45 minutes just for the fucking lips.
