Which one is best for correcting your character's forms and why?
>>
Those brushes are for silhouette. Move topological will move the verts in front of it based on the low poly. Move will move the entire thing with no backface masking.
>>
>>526595
What does 'move elastic' do?
>>
>>526615

It's a very springy pointy move it's good for stuff like anime hair. I never use it though.
>>
Snakehook works like a smudge brush when set to strength less than 100 %.
>>
>>526617

Springy pointy it is only when set to high strength. When set to full strength all those brushes give the same effect, but with low strength they behave different each.

OP here.
I think it was the Elastic Move Brush I was searching for. I don't know why I haven't tried out this one much much earlier. Thank you anon for the help!
>>
>>526652
The sidelong glance looks like Jimmy Neutron
The bridge connecting the nose and the lip has way too much definition to be aesthetic.

Also looks like she's balding up front there.
>>
>>526658
Those things maybe give that char some personality/authenticity. It makes her more life-like, me thinks. Even though she is a bit cartoonish.
>>
>>526652
Alioto can you make something that doesn't have fucking huge areolae FOR ONCE?
>>
>>526683
le what?

>>526658

Fucking die, le OP
>>
>>526683
Guess what brush I have used to make those areolas? ...

Yes: the Elastic Move Brush!

By pressing Alt you can pull out the geo along the average normal, so I made those areolas with just two clicks.

>>526689
Be kind anon, and maybe I might show you some other parts of her I made with le Elastic Move Brush as well.

>>

No one. Any similarities are purely coincidental.

>>526692
Syndrome eyes is the new pretty. Also slightly stylyzed.

I admit the ears should be improved. The rest (esp. the boobs) are subject of personal preferences. Endlessly debatable.
>>
>>526695
boobs are subject to gravity, anon.
>>

Excuses for everything. Why do you even bother posting? If you're going to ignore other peoples advice and opinions just fuck off and make your shitty inbred.
Regardless of how well you can debate that the breasts are how you want them, the fact is they aren't appealing. Breasts that large should sag more and create at least a small fold under the breast. Sagging should pull the nipples down to a more horizontal direction. They should also be sliding to the sides along the rib cage more; there is too much cleavage.

Sculpted on the koala lady a bit. I wished I had discovered this elastic brush five years ago. It kinda gives me extra sculpting powers, so me feels. I can pull out shapes and form them in no time now. Shits freakin hot!

standard move by a fucking mile
biggest control
you never want to have the tool do the work for you, you want to use the tool not be led by it
all other brushes have some additional effect that you cant fully control, and while its of for some small frequency detail where this randomness might be incorporated into the design, it just wont work for overall forms which you have to design for best look

snake hook and elastic are good for fast tries at different concepts, especially when you dont know what you are going for exactly

I sculpted this rubber duck here in just three hours. I used mainly the Elastic Move brush and the Clay Buildup brush and a tiny bit of Dam Standard. I didn't touch the standard Move Brush even once.

And?
The question wast which brush you use personally at this very moment, it was which is the best one.
I justified my position behind how standard move is superior to zbrush standard alternatives, while all you did was post a random rushed ( as you said yourself) and said what you used in reply?

Different tits are different, some look like that. But yeah, most do look more like that. I think it's pretty obvious this is a somewhat stylized model anyway

actually some people's eyes are farther apart and some are closer, they do vary from anatomical "rules" in real life

I always - ALWAYS - use move topological with inflate and smooth. Sometimes, i don´t even use other tools, but when i do is Pinch and Hook.
Move topological is the one who´s changes the less when smoothed over by other tools, i guess.
>>
>>530797
Your work is always horrendous. I don't know why you would think anybody is going to take your advice.
>>
How do you manage to be so impeccably, perfectly awful at everything you do? Are you like a for-real, no shit retard or something?

People might stop making fun of you if you are... Nah, probably not.
>>
>>530797
why do you make children with exaggerated muscles?
>>
>>530797
>I always - ALWAYS - use move topological
Why exactly?
You do know move topological is does the very same thing as move only works slower since it has an auto masking filter on that tries to split geo that is too far from each other?
i mean sure, i can think of when that is useful, but also of when it fucks you over
>>
Alioto do you have an album somewhere with your creations?

Buy the original software, go to forums, follow tutorials on new techniques... but in the end, is a process of tool adaptation in the hands of the artist. Even when the tool isn´t the most indicated for a certain job, if you got used to do it with the tool, you do it better even with the wrong tool. The case must be very specific for move topological to not be recommended, but i´d rather select, hide or diminish the brush size and refix the mesh with other tools than enlarge the tool pallet beyond the 5 tools i always use.
Topological looks nicer in my modeling style, so i don´t use the others.
>>
>>530881
Sooooo you dont have a reason other than you are too lazy to expand your tool pallet?
Maybe you should try it out then and see all the differences between the move brushes before you set on one?
Your models lack the level of control over form expected of someone who is confident in his mastery of his tools.
>>
>>526595
Depending on what I'm making I use Move at 75 or Snakehook as is.

Usually Move is enough to do everything for a while.
>>
>>530780
Actually I never really left
>>530866
Nope. /3/ is the only place.
>>530797
If it works for you, good.

I fell in love with the elastic move one. I tried to adjust the falloff curve of the standart move brush, but yet couldn't make it behave as good as the elastic one. Must admit though, that I worked with the elastic move brush only on dynameshed objects so far.

Jack of all trades, etc. I usually fix my stuff on max since i don´t render stills on Zbrush. But you´re right: i need to do a portfolio of those and fix up my act in Zbrush any of this days, taken two or three months with intense tool learning and skill polishing - maybe after my current project. I paid for the damn license, so why the hell not.

This. Anyone describing themselves as jack of all trades have no competence to get good at anything and they know bits and pieces of information about random stuff that is absolutely useless and not remotely enough to produce anything.
