Hey /3/, I'm rigging in maya right now and I'm trying to get an IK/FK arm switch working. Its fine except for when I try to rotate the FK shoulder joint, the parented controllers rotate in addition and cause massive geo warping. What is the work around?
sounds like an issue with your hierarchy. But why would you need a separate control for the shoulder if your shoulder is already controlled by your ik/fk chainz?
>>523976what do you mean by geo warping? rotating an fk shoulder should rotate all the children of the shoulder. although you should also have a clavicle control/shoulder lift that will move the shoulder without rotating the children.sorry i guess your question is kinda unclear
