Where the fuck can i get a good topo base meshes for sculpting?
>>518942http://luckilytip.blogspot.ie/search/label/basemesh?&max-results=3#.VwlvtWf2ZddThe trouble with base meshes is they always end up looking like the creator made them. I mean look at this fuckboi I made with zbros head basemesh.
MakeHuman is alright.
>>518942make it yourself?i made this abomination and it serves me well
>>519165this is one of the things i did with it, it really doesn't matter to be honest. a good base does not a good sculpt make
http://wiki.polycount.com/wiki/BaseMeshI am not a sculpter, so i don't know if these are good, but try them out. Better than nothing.
>>518942Zbrush already has a bunch of base meshes inside of it.
>>519177ayyy, people like op don't want an actual base, they want something nearly complete that they can shit tweak/ruin and then claim it as their own.. this is illustrated by the fact that op came to /3 to ask the question. honestly the 'best' topo for a basemesh looks like a playstation 1 character, maybe 100-300 quads in the basic shape of a person, or what is now standard - just using a sphere and dynamesh.
>>518942>make your own>start from a sphere and retopo as you go>buy one from some model site>use the default human that comes with zbrush/thread
