So tomorrow I am taking the second part to my animation class. Basically he told us that first day we will spend three hours working to "impress" him.
I fucked off most of the holiday break, with just now self teaching myself box modeling a human body. What are some easy/lazy ways to impress someone?
>inb4 git gud
I know my skill level and it is low compared to you the rest of you.
I read an old tale about this once. Something to do with an ant
the only way to impress someone in this day and age with animation is to have your animated result really tightly syncd to the audio
>Convert a irl/2d porn scene into 3d porn with perfectly synced audio
>put it on a patreon
>Show him how you made money
He would never look at you the same again... wether that is a good thing remains to be seen
Animate chess pieces on a chess board.
We did that in the first part of this class already. I will say the lathe modifier is a simple thing to use and comes out nicely.
hmm, do so abstract kind of thing thing?
like a bunch of lights and shit and shit
maybe a person dancing or some shit
Destruction is a nice way to impress anyone.
You're a waste of money, and resources. Fucking bratty. I hope you fail, and your parents realize how much of a failure you are.
I hope you end up living out of a dumpster.
If you are a faggot
Do a not porn scene...fucking normies,I swear.
you must love animation, you don't so why do you bother?
Shaders, lots of cool shaders in end product. Nothing full of something
don't know what you learn but I am guessing you passed the bouncing ball - squash and stretch stuff?
If so, the only thing to progress next is a form of a walk-cycle (considered basic exercise) but do several, drunk, fast, broken foot/leg etc.. you get the picture and then hit by bouncing ball and falls on face. Just block model/cyclinders stick man should do the job since its not about modeling.
This I can do, I like the idea of animating a drunk person. Thanks anon.
>I didn't teach myself
Aren't you supposed to go to these classes to be taught by someone else?
I understand there's supposed to be homework, I understand you're supposed to already be doing it on your own because it's what you like to do, but when you say "I have only just begun teaching myself the fundamentals of 3D", what is even the point of the class?
And why are you making your own model if animation is what you're focusing on? In fact I would assume, not that I know first hand, that a class focused on animation would have everyone use the same base models (while discussing the important features of those models with respect to deformation) while you learn all the other shit that goes into great animation
>Basically he told us that first day we will spend three hours working to "impress" him.
it's a fucking class not a killing floor
