This was basically what I settled with. Now I'm moving on to retopo and build it up the right way so I can eventually rig and animate it.

looks ok. the nose looks a bit wierd because it doesn't have sides. Also the eyes and mouth will need more edgeloops if you plan on animation

chin is to exagerated, if you look at the examble the only thing that makes it look whide is the long fangs. you can try to make it as wide as the center of the eyes. the nose should be biger. the shoulder width on your model is for a small frame. i would sugest to look at more real anatomy before trying to sculting something like this
