Can someone please help me with this, i am modeling this BMW and am seeing very weird shadows (pic related). Also 3DS max is randomly throwing me very far away from my object and i have to keep hitting Z like a million times to get back.

WHAT COULD IT BEEE

Doing something simple even like clicking on the hood of the car will throw my screen very far away.

Why are you using mesh smooth over turbo smooth?

You are using an orthographic camera.

Viewport shading is irrelevant, just turn off realistic mode and have it flat shaded instead.
