I've never rendered before. I model organic in Zbrush and do hard surface in Blender.

I have Maya, Zbrush, Blender.

What program should I render in?

Those programs don't do the rendering. The real question is "which renderer should I use".

Since you mentioned you have Maya, then use Mentalray which is free, or Vray.

Depends what you are rendering for and what purpose.

But in the end it doesnt really matter, its more important how you make use of the rendering software, if you are good at setting up convincing materials and most importantly good use of textures and maps. So if you actually know what you are doing you can also use Blender Cycles and get good results and if you dont know what you are doing you probably will get bad results.
