Noob question /3/
In 3dsmax, how can I align the pivot to a mesh?
Like in this picture, creating a plane and then putting a box attached to one face of the first one.

I tried looking in Hierarchy/pivot options without any luck.

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking or if you're using the rights words.

If you're asking what I think you're asking:
Just turn on snapping and move them together OR use the align tool OR enable Autogrid

It was just that easy, Autogrid. Thanks anon.
I hate when a tutorial says its for amateurs/easy level and they are constantly using shortcuts/hidden menu icons. Whats the point in those?

Hierarchy panel -> press "affect pivot only", now you can simply align the pivot to any object.

The answer has already been answered. Almost a week ago in fact.
